Jeff made potoato soup for me today. It was very good because he put in delicious leeks and not crummy red peppers. He is cutting mushrooms for the soup on the cutting board he gave me for my birthday.
Today was the reception for the first art show I've coordinated at Gardner Community Center. I'll be helping to put on a different show every month. The smiley guy here is Tony, the coordinator I work with. He is super awesome.January 19
It's the day before my birthday, so I made a torte. Here is the chocolate melting. mmmm... Some friends came over and we played wii. Chill and fun. It was a good day.

Out to dinner with my mom and brother for my birthday. Also along were Josh (of course), Richard, Shayna and Lara. I'm 26. Which means I'm either in my early late twenties or my late mid twenties depending on if I'm feeling optimistic or not. Jeff, a true disciple of my silliness, made a table out of suger packets which was able to suppot a pint glass. Impressive, Jeff.

Today was a day of much drawing. Six new ones today. Here they are all stacked up in a disorderly fashion.January 22
Another day of preping for my upcoming art show on the first, I cut out a massive amount of paper hearts. I feel like I'm in kindergarten. I swear if someone asks me to write my name on one of these and string it around my neck with yarn I will fight back this time!

I walked around downtown SJ putting up flyers for my show today. I walked over my favorite number (the answer to life, the universe and everything) on my way down second street. Cool.
